Hi Friends,
Hopefully you will be able to watch my FaceBook live this morning! ( or my YouTube channel ) to see how to make this beautiful card!
It’s very easy yet lends itself to a degree of loveliness–I think!

This is the first card. I decided to create a sympathy version and I think it came our well. What do YOU think?
Basic white card stock was the base then I used the die/embossing folder with another piece of white for the layer.
I only added TomBow glue to the rectangle –letting the perimeter free fall on the card.
I did cut out another rectangle for the message and popped it on with Dimensionals.
Done –what do YOU think?
This next one is a thank you and I used Berry Delightful DSP ( one of my favs but you can use any DSP!)

Again, I used TomBow to adhere the layer but kept the edges free.
I will post two more after my FaceBook live –a birthday and Christmas.
I do love the versatility of this bundle and you may also!!
Below you will find the products I used for the 4 cards I made.

Hi Friends,
Today I want to show you how easy a few card techniques can be used to make a very pretty Stampin’ Up! card!

First I took a piece of Crumb Cake card stock as my base.
Next I took a piece of Crumb Cake ( 1/4′ smaller by length and width of the base) and stamped, in Early Expresso ink, the words “Thank You Kindly” from the Hanging Garden stamp set.
NEXT –magic with the Subtles Embossing Folder!I ( one of MY NEW FAVORITES!)
Take a look at the ‘subtle’ yet textured look of that layer.

Can you see the fine lines? Makes me think of fine wale corduroy.
Next I took a piece of Soft Suede card stock and used the Layering Squares Framelits, with my Big Shot, cut 3 squares.
Then I took a piece of the Frosted Floral DSP ( LOVE the colors and the fine shimmer!!!) and made 3 smaller squares.
Of course I used Snail to adhere all 3 pieces of DSP to the card stock.
Then I arranged the squares on the embossed layer.
To add just a bit of interest, I used 3 enamel shapes in the lower right hand corner.
There you have it…3 easy techniques:
1. Using the Subtles Embossing Folder
2. Using the Layering Squares Framelits
3. Adding a few embellishments.
Three simple ways to make a card –make it YOUR own and send it with love!
You could make a boxed set of these for a gift!

Hi Friends,
I just cam back from OnStage in Orlando.
One of the re-visited ideas is to take a look at simpler stamping.
What does THAT mean?
Well, simply, it means to keep your design impressive yet easy..
Here is a card we did at my Monday class.

I LOVE ( I know I’ve said this before, but I do LOVE the Foil -Edged Silver and Gold Paper and envelopes.
They are so easy to use and VERY VERSATILE.
So for this card, I used the Gold Edged Paper and then added a layer of Rich Razzleberry card stock.
Next I cut a piece of the Sweet Soiree DSP ( yes it’s retired but I just had to use it!) and layered it on top.
That paper is gorgeous and it was just enough to give the card some simple elegance.

See how nicely the layer of Rich Razzleberry fits on top of the Gold-Edged card base? Then add the DSP and oh so pretty.
Inside I added a message from the Cake Soiree stamp set –and voila–done deal!
You could use ANY DSP for any occasion. These card and envelope packs are a great deal and fun to use!
What do YOU think?
Now I’m not sure if I’ll be able to control my urges to use more layers and embellishments but every once in a while we’ll do some ‘simple stamping’.
How does that sound to you?
Please let me know your thoughts about simpler, easier stamping.. I aim to please and need YOUR input!

Hi Friends,
The Jar of Love stamp set and Everyday Jars Framelits were used to make this cute treat!
But before I tell you a bit about it, I want to THANK Demonstrator Robin Johnson for sharing this project with me! It was her design and I appreciate her talent!

What do YOU think?
I stamped the small jar with black Memento ink then cut it out with the corresponding Framelit Die.
The Tic Tacs were attached to the center of the jar using two Glue Dots then put it in a 2″x8″ cello bag. Then I tied about 8″ of Night of Navy Baker’s Twine around the neck of the jar and tucked it into the cello bag.
The cello bag was cut down to accommodate the topper. I laid the cello bag inside the topper and stapled it together.
Calypso Coral card stock was cut at 2 1/2″ x 3″ and scored at 1 1/2″. I added a piece of Garden Impressions DSP, cut at 2 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ then Snailed it onto the folded Calypso Coral piece.
The Layering Ovals Framelits were perfect to make the background piece and I used the ‘For You’ from Cake Soiree to stamp the message.
Just to give it a tad of pizzazz, I added a Glitter Enamel Dot!

What do YOU think? I think this would be a CUTE favor for Thanksgiving or Christmas ! Imagine the possibilities!
Valentine’s Day favor using the candy hearts or even St Patrick’s Day with a Peppermint Patty! Stay tuned for more versions!

Hi Friends,
I do love the Fall!
The smell of autumn is intoxicating to me.
I love the colors which tell me the summer has worked very hard…now is time for the leaves to ‘rest’.
So when I saw this Stampin’ UP! Falling For Leaves stamp set, I knew I had to have it!
Here is my very own version of a card I will be excited to send.

The base is Merry Merlot and the next layer is Old Olive.
I embossed the Very Vanilla layer with the NEW Subtles Dynamic Embossing Folder.
You can’t see the impressions…. well because it’s ‘subtle’ but in real life, it is VERY nice.
It adds just enough texture to give it some extra ‘subtle’ attention!
Next I took the leaf stamps and using Old Olive, Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze inks, stamped then cut them out with the Thinlits.

Then for just a bit of pizzazz, I took Old Olive ribbon and Linen Thread to make a small bow. This was attached with a Glue Dot.
In the opposite corner I just had to add a Gold Faceted gem.
The message was layered onto a piece of Merry Merlot and adhered with Dimensionals. AND of COURSE I just had to use a bit of Wink of Stella –here and there for interest. To me, Wink of Stella is a must fro any project–it adds a sparkle of interest!
