Hi Friends,

Ho-ho-HO! This adorable Stampin’ Up! stamp set Signs of Santa makes me LAUGH!

Here is the card I made all by myself! HA HA HA!

Stampin' Up! Signs of Santa card

FIrst, I love the expressions on ALL the elves and Mr and Mrs Claus!

Look at this little impish elf!

He’s popped up with a few Dimensionals.

I LOVE the predominant color palette – Poppy Parade and Garden Green. Festive and bright!

It was fun making this one by using the Santa’s Signpost Framelits and the Santa’s Workshop DSP.

My message was used with the Silver Foil Paper and the Merry Christmas Thinlit Dies.

Yet another option for holiday cards!

I hope you like it and if you have any questions, please contact me!

Petal Promenade DSP and Fresh Fig Paper!

Hi Friends,

I LOVE the Petal Promenade Designer Series paper.

The colors are soft and romantic and really have such versatility!

Petal Promenade Designer Series and Fresh Fig Card pare make this a simpple yet elegant card. I also used the Foil-Edged rads and Envelopes in SIlver.

See how beautiful that paper is! There are 4 sheets with trimmable elements–just like the one I used.

For a bit of contrast, I used the Galvanized Metallic paper to border the DSP. Then I added the message and layered it using Layering Ovals Framelits . A little Fresh Fig Shear ribbon for a pop of interest.

I did emboss the Fresh Fig card stock using the Layered Leaves Folder.

What do you think?

The base was made with Gray Granite at 8 1/2 x 4 1/4–scored at 4 1/4″.

The next layer is Fresh Fig cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″ and embossed.

Then the DSP was cut at 3″ square and layered onto a piece of the Galvanized Metallic paper (cut 3 1/4″ square), using Snail Adhesive.

That layer was attached using Dimensionals

Then the message was stamped and pushed through the Big Shot using layering Ovals.

I did the same with a piece of Fresh Fig to back the white layer.

Lastly I cut a piece of the Fresh Fig Sheer Ribbon and attached to the back of the oval.

I can NOT say enough about how much I LOVE the Foil-Edged Cards and Envelopes! They come in either gold or silver and add such a degree of elegance, in my humble opinion!

They are so easy to use and certainly lend a air of elegance to any card you make!

It’s VERY easy and fast to make —seriously!

The front of the card has another layer of Merry Merlot with Very Vanilla card stock.

This time I stamped the tree in Old Olive, copper embossed three snowflakes and THEN added a swath of Shimmery White Embossing Paste just at tree line.

Waterfront card for a special thank you!

Hi Friends,

A dear friend asked me to find a suitable card for her Boss’s Appreciation Day.

I did find this thank you which I slightly modified.

Using the Waterfront stamp set is SO EASY!

The photopolymer images are fun to experiment with!

You can literally come up with so many beautiful scenes.

And I believe this set can be used for so many occasions….it’s now one of my favorites!

Still Night with Owl

Hi Friends,

This Stampin’ Up!  Still Night Christmas  stamp set is so beautiful!

I love making handmade cards and this set is so realistic.

Stampin' Up! Still Night Bundle handmade card

The owl seems to be overseeing the lay of the land at this peaceful time of the year.

To get the om bray effect, I used Night of Navy ink with my brayer.

To make the moon, I took a 1/3/4″ circle and sponged Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight ink on it.

After stamping the owl and branches, I ran them through the Big Shot using the Night Owl Thinlits.

Popped the owl on with Dimensionals then the moon and branch with Fine Tip Glue.

Then I added the message and snailed that on.

I had to add stars in the sky with White Craft ink and of COURSE they had to sparkle a bit -so out came the Wink of Stella!

Ta-da!
