Hi Friends,

I love water-coloring and I LOVE this Waterfront  stamp set!

It is so versatile for so many occasions!

And before you laugh too hard, I DID create this video last Friday –April 13th! Just a week later I got to publish it!!!

Here is the finished card.

What do YOU think?

Check out my video below and see how fast and easy it is to make!

Here are the directions:

  1. Base of card is Night of Navy CS cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″
  2. Next is a layer of Soft Suede CS cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″and Snailed onto the base.
  3. Next is a layer of Night of Navy CS cut at 5 x 3/3/4″ and Snailed onto the Soft Suede layer.
  4. Take a piece of Water Color paper, cut to 3 x 4 1/2″ and start the FUN!
  5. Starting from the bottom, I used Marina Mist ink for the water shadow.
  6. Then using Night of Navy ink, I added the water lines.
  7. Next I used Soft Suede and added the sandy beach and the trees.
  8. Then using Old Olive, the mountains were stamped full strength and stamped off.
  9. The sun was stamped with Crushed Curry –and the message in Night of Navy.
  10. The inside is a piece of Whisper White stamped with the trees and mountains and I did the same thing to the envelope! (no naked envelopes in my house!!!)

VOILA!!!!! Fast and easy –and so so pretty.

I would  appreciate it if you offered your comments! I LOVE hearing from you and I aim to please!

So many beautiful and easy samples!

We’ve made a lot in my classes and you can too!

These were made using an hombre of Peek A Boo Peach and Berry Burst inks. The second card uses Night of Navy.

I love how simple and FAST they were to make!

The base is the usual 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Whisper White. The layer is 5 1/4 x 4.

Then I used the Layering Ovals Framelits to ‘Big Shot’ the images. Popped that layer on with Dimensional ( under a piece of ribbon..just knotted once for an added dimension.

I used some Gold Foil paper to punch out a butterfly and ..voila!

Oh So Eclectic Embossing Paste

HI Friends,

I am a big fan of Embossing Paste.

This card, inspired by Stamping With Joy, uses the White Paste with the the Patterned Party Decorative mask.

It is EASY to use. It dries very quickly and the texture it adds is lovely. The Oh So Eclectic Bundle is fun to use and the colors are so fresh and pretty.

I also added a Faceted Jewel to the center of one flower…just another eye appealing dimension!

Daisy Delight Thank You Card

Hi Friends,

This week I'm celebrating this beautiful Daisy stamp set and corresponding Delightful Daisy DSP!

Today, Wednesday and Friday you will see some very pretty ideas!

Make sure you check back each day to see what I've been doing!

OK — I might be a bit "old school" but I firmly believe in sending written thank you notes. (and btw, hand written notes are GAINING in popularity once again!!! YIPPEE)

I find special delight in a handmade card delivered by the postman. (I LOVE going to my mailbox, opening the cover and FINDING a DECORATED ENVELOPE! I KNOW it's a special note from a SPECIAL someone!!!!)

I just love this bright and cheery card and can imagine it bringing a smile to someone's face when they open it up.

Thank-you-daisy-delight-delightful-daisy-sampin-up-card

This handmade Thank You card was made on a Crushed Currey card base and layered with Night of Navy card stock with Delightful Daisy DSP over that.

The Daisies from the Daisy Delight stamp set were stamped in Crushed Curry ink onto Crushed Curry card stock and punched out with the coordinating punch, attached together with glue dots and then attached to the card front and accented with a faceted gem in the center. (and of COURSE I just HAD to add some Wink of Stella to the petals!)

A simple "thank you" onto a strip of whisper white is easily flagged at the end using the triple banner punch.

This is a great bundle!

Lots of great images and useful sentiments and a punch making a 3D effect quick and easy.

Don't forget that I'll be showing you this bundle in other cards later this week.
