This cards is one I copied/tweaked from Demonstrator Jaimie Babarczy.
I LOVE what she did with the template.
My choice of Terracotta Tile card stock and matching ribbon was a favorite!
The base was a layer of Terracotta Tile card stock and I used the floral stamp image ( with the same colored ink) to add interest to the base of the card.
I next took a piece of Soft Suede cards stock ( 3″ x 4 3/4″) and added a piece of Very Vanilla card stock–1/16″ smaller than the Soft Sueded.
Then the fun stamping on the vanilla layer. Simply Terracotta Tile and Soft Sued…that’s it!
My message was using the Thank You from the set–I love the font!!!
Then I cut it out using our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
Used a few Dimensionals and added it to the lower right hand corner.
I also took a 4″ piece of the matching ribbon and tied one know. Using Glue Dots, I secured it to the edge of the message.
Of course I HAD to add a touch of Wink of Stella to the petals of the flowers–you know me!
Please don’t forget –this bundle is retiring so if this one you MUST have, please either go to my online store or contact me.
Look closely!!! It adds the stitching! How cool is that!?!?
This set comes with circles, ovals and squares!
In my opinion, this set of Framelits is a MUST for any stamper who owns a BIG SHOT!
It's like a basic in my opinion! ( and if you don't own a Big Shot–why not? That too is a basic paper crafting tool!)
The Thank You sentiment was stamped onto the Whisper White square in Calypso Coral ink.
The daisy from the Daisy Delight stamp set was stamped onto Whisper White card stock with Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight ink and then punched out with the coordinating daisy punch.
The gold faceted gems and 5/8" burlap ribbon give this card the perfect shabby chic look.
So what do YOU think??
Wouldn't a set of these make a very nice gift for one of your friends???
Easey-peasey and made with YOUR hands and from YOUR heart!
Check out this video –you can change up the DSP with any of these!
This week I'm celebrating this beautiful Daisy stamp set and corresponding Delightful Daisy DSP!
Today, Wednesday and Friday you will see some very pretty ideas!
Make sure you check back each day to see what I've been doing!
OK — I might be a bit "old school" but I firmly believe in sending written thank you notes. (and btw, hand written notes are GAINING in popularity once again!!! YIPPEE)
I find special delight in a handmade card delivered by the postman. (I LOVE going to my mailbox, opening the cover and FINDING a DECORATED ENVELOPE! I KNOW it's a special note from a SPECIAL someone!!!!)
I just love this bright and cheery card and can imagine it bringing a smile to someone's face when they open it up.
This handmade Thank You card was made on a Crushed Currey card base and layered with Night of Navy card stock with Delightful Daisy DSP over that.
The Daisies from the Daisy Delight stamp set were stamped in Crushed Curry ink onto Crushed Curry card stock and punched out with the coordinating punch, attached together with glue dots and then attached to the card front and accented with a faceted gem in the center. (and of COURSE I just HAD to add some Wink of Stella to the petals!)
A simple "thank you" onto a strip of whisper white is easily flagged at the end using the triple banner punch.
This is a great bundle!
Lots of great images and useful sentiments and a punch making a 3D effect quick and easy.
Don't forget that I'll be showing you this bundle in other cards later this week.
Check back for more great ideas!
