The day we've been waiting for has arrived! Today is the day that we can start ordering from the 2017 Holiday Catalog that you have been drooling over! I have been busy handing them out over the last month and sharing some adorable new creations using new products coming out.

For today's project I'd like to share with you these adorable 3" x 3" note cards that fit into our new Mini Pizza boxes. These little cards are made using Whisper White card stock followed by Gold Foil (or Silver Foil) cut out with the stitched shapes framelit dies, followed by a square of the new Year of Cheer DSP and then a smaller square of Whisper White card stock cut with a smaller stitched shape framelit die with a small sentiment stamped in the center. Stampin' Up! has even included the option to purchase small envelopes to fit these 3" x 3" cards. How fun is that?!?
The top of the Mini Pizza boxes is decorated with matching Gold Foil and Year of Cheer DSP cut using the Big Shot and the Layering Square Framelit dies. This is topped with a new item – the Gold Foil Snowflakes. A Gold Faceted Gem gives this a fishing touch!
Of course this also looks great in Silver with a Clear Faceted Gem.

You many have noticed that my blog has been lacking as of late. Well, changes are coming! My blog and social media and undergoing a tune up.
I wanted to be sure and let you know about the new Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog that was released to the demos today. (By being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, we are able to shop the new catalog a whole month before the general public. Ask me how you can get in on this cool deal!) While I will be back on September 1st to publish the digital version to those of who are not on my mailing list for a paper catalog (ask me how to get on my list for that, too!)
As a teaser, Stampin' Up! has released one of the bundles on an early release. So, if you are anxious to get started on making some quick and easy Christmas cards (that could also be stepped up), you want to take a look a the Carols of Christmas stamp set and coordinating framelits that can be ordered TODAY!

Ok here are the cards we made today. We used the Number of Years stamp set and the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series paper.

Note that the medallion does NOT have anything in it but everyone used the Big Shot to cut out numbers to put inside it. This is my card and as of this moment I don't know who will get it –hence no numbers!

This one and the next used the same format –simple and sweet.
Everyone made 2 of each design AND then we made a cute pocket to hold them.
It ties on the side with the ribbon. A very nice Mother's Day or gift for someone sweet!

Now for tomorrow's class we 'll make these cards. This is the new stamp set commemorating the ONE MILLIONTH Paper Pumpkin kit !!
I absolutely love this card –the colors are Wisteria Wonder and Mint Macaron –love love love it!
I'm sure I'll have another card for tomorrow but right now I MUST go watch my dear Red Sox with my sweet husband — or at least until I fall asleep!
