Did you know that Stampin' Up! has a partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities around the country?
Each year they have a stamp set dedicated to this cause. For each one of these stamp sets sold, Stampin' Up! makes a donation to RMHC.
The set that was released with the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog is called Sharing Sweet Thoughts.
This cute set can make a sweet and simple card with some simple layers and just a little bit of stamping and coloring. (Don't forget to add a little something to the envelope to coordinate – those little extra touches help alot!)
You can step this card up by adding some of the Stampin' Up Window Sheet acetate over the jar making it look like actual glass. Add a little gold trim to the jar lid and some ribbons across the bottom for an adorable "stepped up" card.
If you like the textured look – the Ruffled Dynamic textured impressions embossing folder has been used on the Real Red layer of this card. Again, the Stampin' Up! Window Sheet acetate gives the jar a glass look. This time the jar was "left open" giving those ladybugs a way out. Some linen thread and black bakers twine add even more texture.
I copied /tweaked those cards from designs I saw on Pinterest!
A change in color and orientation, add a few layers and you get a whole new stepped up look!
— this is where we add the pic of the director you met and tell about the card(s) you gave her —
This picture is at our NEW RMH in Springfield, Massachusetts. Betty Saccoccia is with Skochii, the Director of the House. We gave Skochii those cards to show her how fun and easy they are to make –and of COURSE using the RMHC stamp set!
