Stampin’ Up! Christmas Tags

Hi Friends,

The elves are surely BUSY!

What fun we had last Monday making a few Christmas tags.

Talk about easy, fast and FUN!

We used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Signs of Santa.

The elves are adorable so after we stamped them with Staz-ON ink, we colored them using the Many Marvelous Markers.

Cute cute CUTE!

Of course I had to use Wink of Stella for a bit of pop!

The base of the tag was a piece of Poppy Parade and Garden Green cards stock. I cut them to 4″ x 2″.

To make the cut out for the ribbon, I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

Then I used the Tags & Tidings stamp set with the Christmas Tag Thinlits. This allowed me to have a LOT of options for the little tag at the top.

There are 16 images on that stamp. I inked it up with Memento ink -then cut them out with the matching Christmas Tag Thinlit.

It was EASY and fast!

A little piece of the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP layerd on top of the card stock…. then popped the little elf ( and Mrs. Claus) on with a Dimensional.

Next I used a few Red Rhinestone Jewels to give a bit of sparkle…

About 12″ of Garden Green and White Baker’s Twine to use as ties and voila!

I just think they are adorable and certainly will add a bit of festive pizzazz to any package!

What do YOU think?

We’ll be making more cute tags as the days approach!

Would love to have YOU come to one of my classes!

I LOVE the predominant color palette – Poppy Parade and Garden Green. Festive and bright!

It was fun making this one by using the Santa’s Signpost Framelits and the Santa’s Workshop DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Blizzard

Hi Friends,

Once my mind has accepted the fact that snow is tight around my corner, I DO get excited about pretty snowy cards!

AND THIS IS ONE!

I used Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White card stock.

Stamping with a variety of the snowflake stamps and both corresponding inks was fun –it was completely random!

You can see the shimmery snowflakes?

I used the Blizzard Thinlit Die with Sparkle Glimmer Paper!

Of course you can see the Rhinestone Jewel in the center of a few of the snowflakes–a little extra bling!

Still Night with Owl

Hi Friends,

This Stampin’ Up!  Still Night Christmas  stamp set is so beautiful!

I love making handmade cards and this set is so realistic.

Stampin' Up! Still Night Bundle handmade card

The owl seems to be overseeing the lay of the land at this peaceful time of the year.

To get the om bray effect, I used Night of Navy ink with my brayer.

To make the moon, I took a 1/3/4″ circle and sponged Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight ink on it.

After stamping the owl and branches, I ran them through the Big Shot using the Night Owl Thinlits.

Popped the owl on with Dimensionals then the moon and branch with Fine Tip Glue.

Then I added the message and snailed that on.

I had to add stars in the sky with White Craft ink and of COURSE they had to sparkle a bit -so out came the Wink of Stella!

Ta-da!

Stampin’ Up! Alpine Adventure Christmas

Hi Friends,

This handmade Stampin’ Up! Christmas card is so reminiscent of times past.

The old fashioned skis, sled, and snow shoes remind me when I was a little girl………….

So onto the card!

Stampin' Up! hand made Christmas card using Alpine Adventure Bundle

I used Real Red, Early Expresso and Very Vanilla card stocks plus the stamp set Alpine Adventure and corresponding Alpine Sports Thinlits.

It was fun using the Buffalo Check stamp with Memento Ink on the Real Red base.

You sure gets LOTS of mileage out of THAT stamp!

The sled was fun to create –two different cut outs then a little snip here and there and voila!

I did add a bit of gold thread for the pull rope and of course splashes of Wink of Stella here and there!

How cute is that???

The greetings came from Merry Christmas to All and Alpine Adventure stamp sets.
